As outlined below, Dr. Lew attended some of the most prestigious educational institutions in the country. She also gained vast experience with eye care in a wide variety of settings, treating a wide variety of patients, from air force pilots to infants. While she enjoys her work as a traditional optometrist, she has come to realize that some patients need additional options to treat their eye conditions. Not all conditions and visual needs can be addressed in an annual eye exam, or even by attaining the "gold standard" of 20/20 vision.
This realization prompted Dr. Lew to immerse herself in the field of vision training and rehabilitation. She has spent well over 1,000 hours learning about the science and techniques behind it, all in an effort to provide the best possible care for her patients. It has paid off. She can now offer her patients customized treatment plans to address their specific needs and goals. Over a series of fun training sessions, Dr. Lew provides a pathway to better vision and richer lives.
